Something about an old photo can set into motion a whirlwind of memories. It’s as if you can hear the slam of a screen door or the smell your grandmother’s fresh-baked bread. We remember moments, captured in time, of the good ‘ole days where the simpler life was, the better. One of my most favorite photos is of my grandparents (middle left, cover). Swinging with their children (my father, left in photo) and enjoying that steady back and forth motion, on a hot, summer afternoon. Perhaps my most favorite photo, the one that always pulls hard at my heart-strings, is that of me and my mother on my first birthday (top left, cover). You can actually see her love for me in the picture, a timeless moment that I will be lucky enough to have forever.
