Using only Mississippi clay, Jonni uses her love of nature to create "earthy" looking pieces to warm any home. Jonni hopes her art work inspires others to see and appreciate the beauty of the South. Although she originally expressed her creative talents through oil painting, Jonni began taking pottery classes in 1993 from well-known local potter, Robert Pickenpaugh, and fell in love with the craft. She has studied under Stephen Jepson, and Tom Shafer of the World Pottery Institute, Florida, and Thomas Morrison of Jackson, in addition to other workshops and continuing education with Pickenpaugh. Most of  J.R. Webb's work is created from slabs and hand-building.  She creates unique items that are found nowhere else.  Each and every piece is hand-made, signed and dated by J.R. Webb.  No two pieces are exactly alike and each piece is made by the artist.
