Racoon Southwest Pass
Coontown Pottery is a husband and wife team that makes functional stoneware pottery. Chad Brown is a self taught potter, his wife Anna Brown has learned her pottery skills under his instruction. Chad and Anna Brown started Coontown Pottery to have an outlet for their artistic expression. Pottery is food, microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. When baking, always place in a cold oven to avoid thermal shock.
Coontown Pottery was named after Coontown Crossing which is a public use park in Oxford, MS located at Sardis Lake and is close to where the pottery is made. Their glaze color captures their love for the State of Mississippi and the Ocean.
