Pass Roots self taught artist Genevieve Henggeler is a Mississippi Gulf Coast native. She gives a second life to oyster shells and transforms them into beautiful pieces of artwork and decor for every day use. When creating each piece, Genevieve loves to imagine each customer and home it will end up in and hopes it brings so much happiness and nostalgia. 

“I created Pass Roots with a lot of hope and love praying that I could bring art into peoples lives that would remind them of their roots. I have such pride of my deep roots that run throughout the state of Mississippi, especially in Pass Christian."

Perfect Gift to Give

The was the perfect gift for my brother and sister-in-love. They have lived in Mississippi their entire married life, but are soon about to move to Florida. When I saw this on your website, I immediatey knew it was the perfect gift! The state of MS with oyster shells. What better way to mesh the two states?! A little bit of MS and FL in one! I can't wait to give this to them. And did I mention how well this item was packaged? It was bubble wrapped and placed in a smaller box and then put into a larger box. I HIGHLY reccommend The MISSISSIPPI GIFT COMPANY!
